At the next moment (week) we found ourselves from the other side of FInland. Scenery were dark and flat, quite opposite compared to our last destination in Salla (white and hilly).

Sallatunturi

We had a few days of "pre xmas holiday". Now time for laundry before the real xmas holiday. But so, in those few days we drove quite a lot, also through some new roads. Please note: when we weren´t in the car we were alone in cottage or in the nature = Covid -19 friendly trip. One place I´ve never been before got also checked during those days. It´s this Sallatunturi: https://www.nationalparks.fi/sallatunturiarea . But cause it was just a short visit we didin´t had time to check out the whole region with it´s beautiful nature spots. Anyways, you got to start from somwhere, and the next time will become one day ;) !

Huskies

I´ve been a Safari guide in Lapland and have brought tourist to Husky farm. But I´ve just brought them there and wait as they enjoy their ride, so I actually haven´t tested it by myself  . Yesterday I finally had chance to test this activity! Snowy weather didin´t bothered us. As an "expert" I knew to take gogles with us would be quite wise thing to do 8) . If you´re looking for similar adventure Google will help you to find the closest farm to do it. We tested this Finn-Jann Huskyfarm and can warmly recommend it!!!

Nowadays dark comes soon. If you´re working at daytime you don´t have a chance to see how the nature is preparing itself ready for the winter. Today was a rest day. Which meant we had that chance and we used it!

Week ago we had winter and I started my ski season. Then three days of rain and Autumn came back. That means another moment of Nordic walking before you can ski the full season. It doesen´t matter me. I´m thinking there´s always a good weather to go and have some outdoor activity ;) ! Physical activities gives me knowledge to work with analyzing human movements in my daily physioterapist work. But sure, it also gives me energy just to keep going on in life 8) !

Kylmäluoma

I have this 22 years old map from area of Kylmäluoma. Nothing has changed in the area. Really peacfull place to go and relax from hectic everyday business... Today we made a day trip over there by using some marked paths. And as an orienteerer I always need to go "off road" in some point and make my own paths ;) !

Nowhere

I´m not always on a go...or well, to be honest actually I am   ! But my "go´s" are so different compared to my former team mate Antonia. I do random trips to nowhere just ´cause I want to test a new road and draw it on my 3D "internal head map". I´m not looking (anymore) extreme adventures like Antonia does. Take a look at her latest hardcore trip that was suppoused to be a day walk 8) :
