Working for sports and forests

This ride was three weeks ago. After that there´s been another rides in another places. From those I´ll post later 

Since a long while I got back on kayaking. When I was 16 I bought a kayak that served me for 8 years. It been years without this lovely sport. As we had work community recreation day I had chance to get back on it for a day. Don´t know if one day I´ll get back on kayaking as a long term hobby. Just if I would have more hours in my days...

I couldn't guess that 3 hours museum visit would end to this photo. Decades ago that leather jacket belonged to young Elvis Aaron Presley. You better go there yourself and hear the amazing story behind the jacket: from America to Salla. And remember, it can´t never bee too hurry to listen one more story cause you never know where it leads  !

A week ago we had an absolutely perfect weather for a hiking a trip  !

It was time to open a summer season with my Müse. Though the conditions are still quite wintery  !

The freedom: hard snow cover over the forestry grounds. When you can go where ever you want with your xc skis. Gotta like it  !!!

Freedom, silence and peace are guaranteed  ! We didn´t see anyone out htere. Go and enjoy!

The Covid -19 pandemic has reduced my trips farther. Nowadays my trips focus on the "neighborhood" and luckily there is plenty of beautiful nature in the neighborhood for hiking. As you can see I´m always looking torwards a bright future  .

My job and life are stable so far, but I am aware of the risks of Covid-19 disease that can suddenly change my situation. However, it is pointless to think too far about life because of all the other possible changes that life will face. I am always ready to adapt to new or different situations. Nowadays, adapting is easier because there are two of us. Thanks to my spouse with whom I can share the twists and turns of life!

Syöte offers a great variety of marked routes for many vinter activities. We tested one of those (modified with my own off road route selections  ;). If you´re not that experienced "woodsman" you´d better to stay on the tracks you can found from here: https://www.luontoon.fi/syote/reitit

Time for some skiing. Ruka (https://www.ruka.fi/en/) offers nice surroundings for that. And so we did enjoyed our time out there, especially meaning outdoor activities. Next time we´ll stay longer and explore more  !
