A new competition category in mtbo Finnish Championships was held at yesterday, called extra long race. It is some 180% longer than long race. My Garmin showed that I went some 55km in the forest. It took almost three and half hours. I struggled at...

I thought that my World Championships were done. But never say never... Okey, for mtbo and it´s physically demanding career, it is over. There are still plenty of other hobbies where "to catch the gold" .

I was MTBO Team Finland team official in Hungary EMTBOC and EJMTBOC. Some hard work yes, but mostly enjoyable time spent in nice surroundings. And the best thing for sure were the people who made that atmosphere. http://mtbo.hu/emtboc2018/en/

We spent long days in Puolanka doing forest works. I took earlier start for weekend on Friday and stayed a night in Kuopio. Then my journey took me to Jukola relay to run two legs. I went to chek my summer home. Which is located in a peacefull place; in countryside. Liked it! When driving through Sotkamo I had warm feeling. It´s a nice place to live and it can be my home again in someday. Never know !

I took part for two orienteering events and watched four football matches while visiting at home. For me running is thougher than riding a bike. And running in forest! I took it as a good training towards Jukola 2018 (http://www.jukola.c...
